    DCB MONTANA | LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA

The DCB Montana building, winner of an international competition to develop the Diminikcobau Business Center, is a pioneering sustainable workspace emphasizing environmental responsibility, spatial quality, and connectivity. Designed to foster collaboration, it includes diverse, adaptable spaces: terraces with panoramic views, a conference center, a gallery, recreational areas, and a garden restaurant. A central atrium optimizes natural light and ventilation, enhancing comfort and reducing energy use. Sustainability is embedded through passive and active measures, such as compact massing, shading, thermal insulation, and low water consumption, aiming for DGNB Gold certification (in progress) and an A1 energy rating. The flexible interior offers reconfigurable offices and meeting rooms, supporting varied professional needs. Its iconic façade maximizes natural light and enhances the neighborhood, setting a new standard for sustainable business spaces.

    Competition: 1st. prize, September 2019
